Dr. Paul Foxman, PhD
Dr. Foxman is the Director of the Vermont Center for Anxiety Care. He holds Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Vanderbilt University, and he has been in private practice for 37 years. Dr. Foxman specializes in anxiety disorders in children and adults and frequently appears at conferences and on television and radio shows to address anxiety and stress-related issues. He is the author of "Dancing with Fear," "The Worried Child," and "The Clinician's Guide to Anxiety Disorders in Kids and Teens."
Anxiety is one of the most common, chronic, and costly emotional disorders in the United States and globally. Accordingly, providers in virtually all settings are likely to encounter clients suffering from anxiety conditions. The purpose of this training is to offer information about understanding, recognizing, and responding to anxiety.
