This two-hour virtual workshop will explore trauma-informed care through the combined lens of neurophysiology, complex trauma, and liberation-oriented practice. Participants will gain an accessible understanding of how trauma (particularly trauma shaped by systemic oppression, marginalization, and identity-based harm) impacts the nervous system, relational capacity, and sense of self.
Through didactic and applied case studies, attendees will learn practical strategies for supporting healing, relational transformation, and systemic change while honoring culture, identity, and lived experience.
