Reimagining Justice:
Leading with Care in Times of Uncertainty

 PRESENTER

Dr. Gary Bailey, PhD

1.5 CE Credits offered: NASW / LICSW / LDAC / LMHC / Nursing

Description:

In this webinar, Dr. Bailey will explore the urgent need for social work and health care providers to engage in a bold reimagining of justice—one rooted not only in advocacy and resistance, but also in radical care, empathy, and relational leadership. In the midst of shifting systems and growing uncertainty, the helping professions are uniquely positioned to model approaches to justice that are trauma-informed, community-centered, and equity-driven. This presentation will highlight the role that social work played historically and how it led with intention by grounding its practice in the values of dignity, inclusion, and transformative change.

Through critical reflection, and engagement with current events, attendees will be challenged to think expansively about the future of social work and their role in shaping it; and the role that revolutionary grace* must play. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies for leading with integrity and compassion across practice settings, organizations, and communities—especially in times of profound disruption and change.
