Participants will examine both the promise and potential pitfalls of AI, including concerns related to bias, inaccurate information, privacy and confidentiality, ethical decision-making, and AI alignment, alongside practical applications that can enhance efficiency, creativity, and ethical practice.
Participants will be introduced to Dr. Magruder’s PAUSE framework, a practical approach for critically evaluating the use of AI in professional settings. Through applied case scenarios, attendees will practice navigating common ethical and practice dilemmas and leave with key AI literacy principles to support the responsible, informed, and effective use of AI in an evolving technological landscape.
